Beamish Park Hotel has always been known for its great food, service and friendly staff. Our priority as we work through the Covid-19 pandemic is to create a safe environment for you, your family and friends, and our staff.
We are committed to always doing all we can to protect the wellbeing of everyone who visits Beamish Park Hotel and those who work here.
Our work to ensure we're a Covid-safe venue has been recognised by Visit England's Good To Go scheme - you can see our certificate here.
We have put the following measures in place to protect your wellbeing - if you have any questions or concerns please do let us know. We're always happy to help.
- When you arrive at Beamish Park Hotel, you will be met by our receptionist at the front doors. The reception area has a screen now for safety. If you are dining or having a drink, you will be shown directly to your table after providing the relevant 'Test and Trace' information - this is essential information that will be held by us for 21 days, and is a necessity from the Government.
- If you are arriving to stay at the hotel, the receptionist will have your sanitised key for you. We do ask for pre-payment prior to arrival and contactless throughout the hotel where possible, although we also accept cash if this isn't possible.
Hygiene and Sanitisation
Our hygiene levels have become even more stringent. The housekeeping staff are working very hard to keep everything clean and hygienic.
- There are hand sanitisers throughout Beamish Park Hotel - please do use them as required.
- The toilets will be sanitised regularly and operate a 'one-in, one-out' policy.
- Tables and chairs will be thoroughly cleaned between guests, including flowers and condiments.
If you're staying with us
- Where possible we will leave rooms 'fallow' for 48 hours in between cleaning and the arrival of the next set of guests.
- Your hotel key has been sanitised before arrival.
- Our housekeeping staff clean each room even more thoroughly between guests, using anti-bacterial cleaning products, particularly on high-touched areas such as door and window openings, TV remote controls and telephones.
- The bedroom windows will be opened to allow the room to ventilate as we clean.
- Items such as tissues and magazines have been removed.
- If you are staying for several nights, please let us know if you would like your bedroom serviced each day or if you would prefer just fresh towels and toiletries.
- All the extras in your bedroom - tea, coffee, bath products etc will be changed between guests with a fresh set.
- Breakfast has changed. If you would rather eat in your room, we can still offer full English, and we are waiving the tray service charge until further notice, or we can provide a Grab & Go Breakfast Bag to your door. We no longer offer continental buffet breakfast.
- Breakfast can also be taken in the Conservatory, please ask the receptionist for further information.
If you're eating with us
- We've reduced the number of people dining at any one time and have restricted booking times.
- We will have at least 1m-plus between tables.
- All table reservations must be pre-booked.
- Larger tables are limited.
- Menus are disposable.
- Tables and chairs are thoroughly cleaned between guests. All tableware is replaced with fresh between guests too.
- Outdoor dining is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Again, we will be following the above guidelines for social distancing and hygiene.
Finally: Thank you so much for visiting Beamish Park Hotel, your support and co-operation through these challenging times is very much appreciated.
